The comparision of obtained results with previous study results by Meller at al. (2006) shows that as a result of composting process the content of certain trace elements increases (Fe, Ni, Cu, Pb, Cd).}, abstract={The content of some heavy metals under study (Cd, Pb, Ni) exceeds permissible values, defined by the current regulations in force in Poland (Dz.U. 2003, 236, 2369). Among the examined heavy metals, zinc (82.5%), manganese (78.8%), cadmium (77.7%), nickel (60.5%) and lead (59.7%) are characterised by a considerable amount of easily soluble forms, which favours their availability to plants.}, abstract={Relatively high, in the light of permissible limits, content of cadmium (1.59-10.11 mg?kg-1 dry matter), lead (145.6-244.5 mg?kg-1 dry matter) and nickel (22.5-70.8 mg?kg-1 dry matter) with a great amount of their easily soluble forms exclude the possibility of using these composts for agricultural purposes. Land reclamation may be one of possible applications.}, type={artykuł}, title={Zawartość metali ciężkich w kompostach wytwarzanych z frakcji organicznej odpadów komunalnych w Zakładzie Utylizacji Odpadów Gorzów Wielkopolski = Content of heavy metals in composts produced from organic fraction of municipal waste in ZUO Gorzów Wielkopolski}, keywords={4 Międzynarodowa konferencja "Ochrona i rekultywacja terenów dorzecza Odry: rekultywacja terenów zdegradowanych" (28-29.06.2007), komposty, odpady, metale ciężkie, composts, wastes, heavy metals}, }
