Special attention was focused on the use of wavelet - neural networks in above mentioned subject matter of investigation. Efficiency of detection of QRS complex was examined by algorithms working in time domain. N2 - In the first part of the dissertation, the current knowledge of electrokardiography and pacemaker was summed up. Technical problems with analysing and recording signals by means of the Holter method were indicated. The methods of detection and classification of QRS complex were discussed five groups, not three groups as indicated in literature, were identified. The comparison of the methods was carried out. N2 - Second part was the presentation of knowledge of the use of wavelet - neural networks. It mainly presents the results of detection of QRS complex and classification of the endogenic rhythm. In particular, the problem is to apply LMI methods for n-D system classes with parameters uncertainty, disturbances and delays occurrence. Resulting LMI conditions are implemented as Matlab m-files. N2 - The following thesis of this dissertation may be formulated: Many analysis and synthesis problems of differential and discrete LRPs and generally n-D systems, including very difficult and practically motivated problems where uncertainties, disturbances and delays may appear, can be solved effectively with LMI methods. To confirm this thesis, the following problems have been addressed: N2 - (1) Theoretical aspects: provision and development of the computer implementable formulation, which involve LMIs, for the following problems: - stability and stabilisation of LRPs subjected to parameter uncertainty; - controller synthesis with performance requirements (in the form of H inf and H 2 norms) for LRPs; - guaranteed cost control of LRPs; - stability and stabilisation of state delayed 2-D systems, - robust stability and robust stabilisation of state delayed 2-D systems; - formulating optimization procedures which can be used to attenuate the effects of uncertainty and disturbances. N2 - (2) Implementation aspect: Implementation of a Matlab-based package which numerically solves considered class of problems. The assignment of elaborated system components to hardware or software is performed usual manually by designer during the developing process. About 71% projects do not meet implementation constraints (performance, power consumption, time-to-market) or they are just canceled before project ends. In addition, a microprocessor is the main control and processing unit in modern SOPC (System On a Programmable Chip) architectures. This unit executes program instructions in sequence. Performance (number of executed instructions by time) of the microprocessor that is embedded in SOPC is limited by the technical properties of FPGA devices. When the embedded SOPC system is overloaded then summary performance of the system may decrease below expectations because of the main CPU properties. N2 - There have been marked three main thesis goals: a) elaborate design method to enable developing process of the SPMC microstructure, b) shorten execution time of the main CPU, this may by done by reusing not allocated FPGA resources (moving software tasks to hardware part), c) elaborate, develop and publish CAD SPMC solution. Also, there are taken under consideration following practical assumptions: versatility, minimization of hardware resources occupied by dedicated SPMC accelerator, application of formal model of the system specification, automation of the designing process. N2 - There has been elaborated hardware-software architecture of digital microstructure to accelerate and finally replace not efficient standard SOPC CPU. There has been also elaborated a SPMC designing method oriented to reuse of not allocated reprogrammable SOPC logic (FPGA resources). A new formal model of the digital SPMC microstructure has been proposed (PNHSDM) as well as the SPMC functional specification decomposition algorithm, XML-SPMC system description language and many new and unique features and designing techniques related to hardware-software codesign methodology. For the considered subclass of dynamical systems i.e. Linear Repetitive Processes those obstacles come from the fact that either the existing theoretical conditions are practically unsolvable (the test is based on checking the infinite number of possibilities) or the resulting numerical problems have high dimensions. To overcome aforementioned obstacles Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMIs) have been applied. The application of LMIs allows to use very effective numerical algorithms to solve the considered problems. However the use of LMIs alone in many cases (especially for the high dimensional problems) does not provide the appropriate solution for the considered problem. The dissertation contains the obtained results of the stated problems for considered class of dynamical systems. Our main goal was to develop the background needed to solve computational problems and to provide efficient numerical methods of constructing T-optimum designs for dynamic processes described by ordinary and partial differential equations. A starting point for this project was the works by Atkinson and Fedorov who proposed an algorithm for generating approximations to T-optimum designs, which has remained since then the only known computational tool in this context. But the major drawback of the method was the lack of its convergence analysis. In fact, the method, as it was formulated, was not globally convergent. The obvious task of the present research was thus to look closely at Fedorov's algorithm. N2 - This resulted in the formulation of a family of methods which combine some features of the original Fedorov method and, at the same time, possess global convergence properties. The most important, a novel relaxation algorithm RATO (Relaxation Algorithm for T-Optimality) is presented and its convergence in a finite number of steps is proved. Moreover, a thorough analysis of additional numerical problems associated with the RATO scheme is presented, including a proposition of appropriate regularization for non-smooth functions being optimized. The proposed solutions have been tested on practical process engineering examples, i.e., chemical kinetics or air pollution modelling, thereby indicating their potential applications in numerous disciplines. First, we consider Volterra equations in a separable Hilbert space H with the locally integrable kernel functions, a closed linear unbounded operator A and a cylindrical Wiener process. Our main results rely essentially on techniques using a strongly continuous family of so called resolvent operators. N2 - The resolvent approach to stochastic Volterra equations enables us to obtain new results in an elegant way, analogously like in a semigroup case. In the remaining part of the paper we study two classes of equations of the convolution type on d-dimensional torus with values in the space of tempered distributions. We consider the existence of the solutions to the equations under consideration and next we derive the conditions under which the solutions take values in function spaces. Modem converters used in such systems generate a high level of electromagnetic interference (EMI), the spectra of which are shifted from low to high frequency band. It causes new kinds of problems related to measuring methods, mitigation echniques and elimination ofthe consequences oftheir appearance. N2 - The dominant way ofEMI emission into electromagnetic environment in a frequency range up to 30 MHz is by conduction. Additionally, in the high frequency range conducted EMI in power converter drives can cause problems with internal electromagnetic compatibility ofthe system. In this work, based on experimental results and theoretical analyses, the circuits of common mode (CM) and differential mo de (DM) EMI in topologically symmetric three-phase systems have been distinguished. On this basis HF lumped equivalent circuits for EMI and bearing currents have been proposed. The wave nature of EMI currents has been taken into consideration. N2 - The method of comparative analysis ofthe influence of controi algorithms onto EMI spectra in the CISPR A frequency band using analytical decomposition ofthe spectrum into CM and DM mo des has been proposed.Theoretical analyses and results of simulations have been verified by tests carried out on a two-quadrant drive with induction motor fed-by frequency converter and additionally on drives with a four- quadrant frequency converter, multilevel inverters and a matrix converter. Beside the valuation of efficiency and limitations of the application area of these methods, an influence on other aspects of electromagnetic compatibility of the system has been presented.
