Abstract:
This article presents a problem, which has been only little examined so far and which has been omitted in Polish didactics of the native language. The author gives attention to the bet, that the mere concept of "spoken language" has not yet been precisely defined in linguistic literature. ; He eventually discusses the mutual relations between spoken and written language under a linguistic, psycholinguistic and sociolinguistic aspect. Beyond that he puts into words four principles of work on the evolution of the spoken language: ; l. Erection of a system of principles for the motives of speaking, 2. Correlation of work on shaping the spoken language in accordance with the evolution of the pupil's way of thinking, 3. Interdependence of the spoken language and the written one, 4. Correlation of work on the evolution of the spoken language and the teaching of grammar.
