PB - Zielona Góra: Oficyna Wydawnicza Uniwersytetu Zielonogórskiego N2 - Continuously increasing pharmaceuticals consumption contributes to the increase of their concentration in the aqueous environment, which is at a level of a few ng/dm3to several ?g/dm3. A numerous group of pharmaceuticals occurring in surface waters are non-steroidal painkillers and anti-inflammatory drugs, which include diclofenac. N2 - The paper presents the possibility of the analytical control of diclofenac photocatalytic oxidation process in the aquatic environment. To examine the effectiveness of the process various instrumental methods including HPLC analysis preceded with solid phase extraction SPE, measurements of UV absorbance and total organic carbon were used.
