 abstract={The article deals with the process of reviving the Polish stylistic thought just after the end of World War II. The years 1945-1948, i.e. the period from the resumption of official scientific life in Poland after the cessation of hostilities to the establishment of the Institute of Literary Research in Warsaw at the end of 1948, is an important moment in its development. The author wants to demonstrate the specificity of the three years discussed.},
 abstract={At that time, several important theoretical works in the field of stylistics were published, which were created during the occupation. Above all, however, a lively discussion on the status of the discipline under consideration was initiated. Two specific issues are discussed in the text: 1) the method of evaluating the achievements of Polish research on style in the interwar period by linguists operating after 1945, 2) Ideas for new directions of stylistic studies reported in the analyzed years.},
