 abstract={The book is divided into historiographic and source parts. The first one includes seven articles about the fate of interesting characters or local but spectacular events. The objects of research interest included the governor of district of Babimost Dobrogost from Kolno, the governor of district of Gniezno Krzysztof Unrug, the owners of Międzychód, Kargowa and Trzciel, Zygmunt and Anna Marianna Kottwitz from Konotop, and the organist from Nowe Kramsko Jan Benyskiewicz. Three articles in this collection concern Kargowa.},
 abstract={The first material tells an interesting story related to the construction of a royal palace and military barracks in Kargowa by Augustus the Strong. The objects were burned by supporters of Stanisław Leszczyński in 1735. The second one, prepared on the basis of the Kargowo benchbook, presents the existence of local innkeepers. The next article includes comments on a previously unpublished map of Kargowa from the second half of the 18th century.},
 abstract={The second part of the publication includes sources and commentary: the granting of Babimost by Władysław Jagiellończyk to Dobrogost from Kolno, Krzysztof Żegocki`s complaint against Krzysztof and Aleksander Unrug regarding the invasion of Babimost, the agreement on the capitulation of the garrison in Kargowa in 1735, and the report of Second Lieutenant Jan N. Lenkiewicz on the fighting in Kargowa in 1793, were published.},
