Among the competencies that support nurses in providing patient care are emotional intelligence and self-efficacy, as effective coping with professional challenges and building satisfying relationships with patients largely depend on them. The aim of the study was to analyze the relationship between the emotional intelligence dimension of emotion self-regulation and self-efficacy in a professional group of nurses.}, abstract={The study involved 100 women - 50 nurses (M?=?40.48) and 50 clerks (M?=?39.30) serving as a control group. The questionnaires used were: INTE (emotional intelligence dimension of emotion self-regulation) and GSES (self-efficacy). The results showed significant positive correlations between the emotional intelligence dimension and self-efficacy. Comparative analysis also demonstrated that the group of nurses scored higher in both emotion self-regulation and self-efficacy compared to the group of clerks. The findings suggest that the development of emotional competencies may contribute to strengthening self-efficacy in professions that require intensive interpersonal contact and working under stress.}, type={rozdział w książce}, title={Samoregulacja emocji a poczucie własnej skuteczności pielęgniarek w opiece nad innymi = Emotional self-regulation and self-efficacy among nurses in the context of caring for others}, keywords={samoregulacja emocji, poczucie własnej skuteczności, kompetencje emocjonalne, pielęgniarki, emotional self-regulation, self-efficacy, emotional competencies, nurse}, }
