The centuries-old traditions of the university are closely intertwined with transformations occurring across all spheres of individual and collective life. The issue of academic culture addressed in this paper focuses on the contemporary manifestations of long-duration culture, which retains its identity and functions over extender periods. This pertains to its functions, values, rituals, and ceremonial practices.
