 abstract={The present analysis is concerned with an examination of the impact of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Russian Federation, dated 17 January 2025, on the regional balance of power. Existing scholarly works predominantly focus on the analysis of bilateral relations characterised by opposition to Western hegemony, a perspective reflected in earlier treaties and cooperative initiatives between Iran and Russia.},
 abstract={This study employs a qualitative methodology encompassing content analysis, discourse analysis, and case study research, utilizing the text of the Agreement, current geopolitical conditions, and statements from key political decision-makers. The findings indicate that, although the Agreement possesses a predominantly symbolic and demonstrative character, it effectively strengthens the strategic integration of both states, whilst simultaneously mitigating pressure from Western nations and enhancing resilience against international sanctions through the consolidation of political, economic, and defense interests.},
