@misc{Zadworny_Bartosz_Czy, author={Zadworny, Bartosz}, howpublished={online}, publisher={Zielona Góra: Oficyna Wydawnicza Uniwersytetu Zielonogórskiego}, language={pol}, abstract={In recent years, it is clear to see in Russia`s behaviour a return to the rhetoric that was so prominent during the Cold War. Particularly after the annexation of Crimea in 2014 and more broadly in the context of further tensions in relations with Ukraine. In this rhetoric, we are increasingly seeing terms such as "external threat", "information war" and "defensive sovereignty". Another aim of such behaviour is also to consolidate society, strengthen the sense of national identity and attempt to justify its domestic and foreign policies.}, abstract={A key element of this threat is the United States and NATO, against which the authorities in Moscow defend society by calling this situation a necessity for defence against the imperialist aspirations of the West. This situation is analogous to the US-Soviet conflict during the Cold War. The paper will address the rise of tensions in the context of the military-economic rivalry, which is also often portrayed as a continuation of the Cold War rivalry. It is worth noting at the outset that, despite some features linking the situation of the last century and that of the present day, the geopolitical, technological and economic context is different.}, title={Czy Moskwa powraca do zimnowojennej retoryki w komunikacji strategicznej?}, type={rozdział w książce}, keywords={komunikacja strategiczna, informacja, odstraszanie, NATO, strategic communication, information, deterrence}, }
