Digital technologies are often used interchangeably with terms such as digitization, information technologies, or internet technologies. However, they are present in almost every sphere of life. Political decision-making as a highly complex embedded process that takes place at both the individual and collective level is key to the functioning of the state and results from the sum of individual choices, especially in democratic systems. These processes, influenced by economic, international, and security factors, increasingly rely on digital tools.}, abstract={In the context of public administration, digital technologies are revolutionizing decision-making through e-voting systems, e-administration, mobile applications, big data analytics and artificial intelligence tools. They enable a faster flow of information, precise monitoring of social moods, and enhanced transparency in governmental actions. Social media also exerts significant influence on citizens by facilitating direct communication with politicians. However, digitization also presents challenges, including threats related to the protection of personal data, disinformation, and the manipulation of public opinion.
