 abstract={The aim of the article is to draw attention to the use of oral history in shaping the identity of subsequent generations. Familiarity with the assumptions of memory pedagogy, an expansion of its scope, and the incorporation of the experience and achievements of oral history can be helpful in archiving the materials thus acquired. The competences gained in this way offer an opportunity to preserve knowledge of the past and to use it in shaping the present and the future.},
