 abstract={The article proposes a reading of crime novels published in serial form in Gazeta Zielonogorska between 1957 and 1969. This diverse body of texts is examined from historical and cultural perspectives, including by situating it within the period of "our little stabilization". In this sense, these crime novels constitute for us today a distinctive archive of memory of the past.},
 abstract={At the same time, the author treats them as an interesting source that contributes to our knowledge of the region and of the regional newspaper, which, at the turn of the 1950s and 1960s, became a channel for promoting this genre among readers. In doing so, the article also brings to light a forgotten chapter in the history of crime fiction in the Polish People`s Republic. The interpretation of the novels draws on research procedures associated with popular literature and regional studies.},
