 abstract={There are currently 25 primary schools in Zaolzie with Polish as the language of instruction and the only Polish Junior High School (the equivalent of a Polish high school) in Cesky Tesin. The specificity of Polish education in Zaolzie lies, among others, in the close cooperation of Polish schools in Zaolzie with local institutions and organizations in the field of promoting culture among student. Polish culture is particularly close to the inhabitants of Zaolzie.},
 abstract={This article presents own research on selected aspects of after classes activities of Polish schools in Zaolzie in promoting culture and Polishness in 2017, based on the analysis of the sources of the Polish Zaolzie press. It is worth noting that Polish schools in Zaolzie conduct very intensive after classes activities enabling students to get to know and participate in culture, especially in Polish culture. Moreover, in cooperation with Zaolzianian institutions, they attach great importance to cultivating their own Polishness among the students.},
