 abstract={The resolutions of the peace conferences crowned thc time of the Second World War, were not without an influence on the territorial shape of the Polish country and also on individual fate of people of both Polish and German origin. One of the consequences of establishing new borders was mass relocation of the Polish population from the East and displacement of the German population from the Western territories.},
 abstract={The article shows the fate of the last German parish priest of the parish In Bolesławiec dedicated to the Assumption of Virgin Mary and St Nicholas bishop - priest Paul Sauer who was accused of belonging to the German underground organisation Freies Deutschland (Free Germany) by the Ministry of Public Security. The accusation became the reason for his arrest and applying cruel investigative methods with the purpose of pleading the accused guilty of charges which were put forward and as a result of the above, death.},
