 abstract={The work contains available information on historical lignite mines in the former (pre-war) Świebodzińsko-Sulechowski county. This part of the article includes the area between Lubrza and Świebodzin, where lignite was discovered as early as 1824.},
 abstract={Lignite mining operated here in the years 1842-1927. The history of the most important mines was briefly described: Graf Beust, Pauls Hoffnung and Reformation. Geological conditions and the way of mining were also characterized. Preserved photos related to mining in this area are shown.},
