Artykuł przedstawia patologie organizacyjne występujące w polskim szkolnictwie wyższym w latach 2008-2011, uszczegółowione do takich aspektów, jak patologie organizacji procesu dydaktycznego i funkcjonowania uczelni oraz patologie związane z kadrą nauczycielską szkół wyższych. Tematyka badań jest kontynuacją przeprowadzonych szerszych badań, obejmujących lata 2002-2004 oraz 2005-2007. Zastosowana metoda badawcza to analiza dokumentów. ; Źródło danych w badaniach stanowią oficjalne dokumenty PKA - uchwały dotyczące oceny jakości kształcenia. Próba do badań - podobnie jak we wcześniejszych eksploracjach - została dobrana celowo; wykorzystano uchwały PKA III kadencji, które zawierają warunkową bądź negatywną ocenę jakości kształcenia, jak również uchwały w sprawie odstąpienia od oceny jakości kształcenia albo zawieszenia dokonania oceny. ; Badania wskazały najbardziej znaczące przejawy patologii w ramach wyróżnionych dwóch kategorii. Należą do nich niespełnienie wymogów minimum kadrowego na ocenianym kierunku studiów oraz zastrzeżenia dotyczące jakości prac dyplomowych, seminariów dyplomowych i procedury dyplomowania.
Abstract:
The article presents organisational pathologies occurring in Polish higher education in 2008-2011, focusing specifically on pathologies concerning the organisation of the didactic process and functioning of HEIs, as well as pathologies related to teaching staff in HEIs. The research is a continuation of a larger study, covering the years 2002-2004 and 2005-2007. The research method used is document analysis. ; The source of data in the study are official documents of the Polish Accreditation Committee (PKA), i.e. resolutions on the assessment of the quality of education. The sample for the research - as in the previous research - was selected purposively; the author used the resolutions of PKA of the 3rd term, which contain conditional or negative assessment of the quality of education, as well as resolutions on withdrawal from the assessment of the quality of education or suspension of the assessment. ; The study findings revealed the most significant manifestations of pathology in the two categories. These include non-fulfilment of the minimum staff requirements in the assessed field of study and reservations concerning the quality of diploma theses, diploma seminars and the graduation procedure.
