Artykuł stanowi wprowadzenie do prac naukowych prowadzonych w Zakładzie Animacji Kultury Uniwersytetu Zielonogórskiego. Koncentruje się na prowadzeniu dyskusji w ramach seminarium naukowego. Główną część artykułu stanowi przykład problemu omawianego na seminarium, choć rzadko podejmowanego w literaturze geriatrycznej. ; Problem dotyczy przemocy osób starszych wobec ich najbliższego otoczenia. Wymienione przykłady zachowań osób starszych, opisane w literaturze lub obserwowane w życiu codziennym, pozwalają rozpatrywać zachowania tej kategorii społecznej wyłącznie jako łagodne lub wrogie. Co więcej, przykłady te pokazują zmienność zachowań w kontekście transformacji ról społecznych możliwych do pełnienia w tym wieku.
Abstract:
The paper introduces the academic work performed at the Cultural Animation Unit of the University of Zielona Gora. It focuses on running discussions within the academic seminar. The main part of the article is the example of the problem discussed on the seminar, although infrequently undertaken in the gerontological literature. ; The problem concerns the violence of the elderly against their immediate environment. Listed examples of the behaviour of elderly people, described in the literature or observed in every day life, let us consider the behaviour of this social category only as genial or hostile. What is more, the examples show the variability of its behaviour in the context of transformation of social roles possible to perform in this age.
