 abstract={Despite the lack of documented differences in the intensity of creative abilities between women and men, the observed disproportion between men and women in terms of creative achievements may result from different socialization and education paths of boys and girls. The purpose of the article is to compare teachers` beliefs about the characteristics of a creative boy and a creative girl. 128 experienced kindergarten and elementary school teachers were involved in the study.},
 abstract={The research results showed a significant diversity of teachers` beliefs about the characteristics of girls and boys in terms of creativity. While the surveyed teachers did not notice differences in the ingenuity and originality of boys and girls (t = 0.96; p > 0.05; d = 0.08), in their opinion, a creative girl was perceived as significantly more conscientious (t = 7.03; p < 0.05; d = 0.62) and subordinated to the expectations of other people (t = 4.34; p < 0.05; d = 0.38) than a creative boy. The revealed differences were analyzed theoretically (theories of creativity, socio-cultural concepts of gender).},
