The purpose of the article is to compare teachers` beliefs about the characteristics of a creative boy and a creative girl. 128 experienced kindergarten and elementary school teachers were involved in the study.}, abstract={The research results showed a significant diversity of teachers` beliefs about the characteristics of girls and boys in terms of creativity. While the surveyed teachers did not notice differences in the ingenuity and originality of boys and girls (t = 0.96; p > 0.05; d = 0.08), in their opinion, a creative girl was perceived as significantly more conscientious (t = 7.03; p < 0.05; d = 0.62) and subordinated to the expectations of other people (t = 4.34; p < 0.05; d = 0.38) than a creative boy.
