Adapting to a new environment can be challenging for individuals, with acculturation stress posing a significant threat to their physical and mental health. Acculturation stress is a complex socio-psychological phenomenon that people experience when adjusting to a new culture and environment. The way of coping with this stress is one of the factors determining the quality of social interactions.}, abstract={The study presents the results of an interpretative phenomenological analysis of semi-structured in-depth interviews with 10 Iranian students who are studying in Poland. The findings reveal that the students have diverse experiences of acculturation stress, which is attributed to the differences between Polish and Iranian cultures, as well as the overall experience of studying abroad, learning challenges, and daily life problems.
