The aim of the study was to answer the following research questions: What is the emotional attitude towards school declared by the SEN pupils participating in the research? Do they like to return to school after longer breaks (summer holidays, winter holidays)? Would the SEN pupils surveyed like to transfer to another school and if so, for what reason? What is the image of school that they have formed in their minds? Does the SEN type differentiate the well-being at school of the pupils participating in the study?}, abstract={The research used a diagnostic survey method, an interview technique and a self-constructed categorised research instrument in the form of a student interview questionnaire. The chi2 test and Spearman`s correlation coefficient were used in the analyses. Ninety-five pupils of younger school age with SEN resulting from their disability, long-term somatic illness and risk of developmental dyslexia participated in the study. It was found that the wellbeing of the SEN pupils surveyed at school varied. The majority reported very good (70.5%) and 10.5% of children reported poor wellbeing. The type of SEN was not a factor that significantly differentiated their wellbeing in the school environment.}, title={Samopoczucie w szkole uczniów ze specjalnymi potrzebami edukacyjnymi w młodszym wieku szkolnym = School wellbeing of early school-age pupils with special educational needs}, type={artykuł}, keywords={wellbeing, school, pupil, special educational needs, samopoczucie, uczeń, szkoła, specjalne potrzeby edukacyjne}, }
