 abstract={The aim of the research conducted in the academic year 2012/2013 was to diagnose the behaviour of full-time first year students of the University of Zielona Gora in relation to the requirements of a healthy lifestyle considered in this work in terms of the interest in acquiring and widening students` knowledge on health.},
 abstract={The author used a diagnostic survey method and collected questionnaires filled in by 352 students (including: 250 women - 71% and 102 men - 29%). Majority of the respondents (79% of all the respondents, including 80% of women and 75% of men) expressed their wish to participate in optional classes dedicated to at least one of 25 offered topics. There were two topics which were of the greatest interest both among women and men: "First Aid in Emergency Cases" (47% of respondents chose the topic) and "Nutrition Hygiene and basics of Nutrition" (38%).},
