 abstract={In the article, the author poses a question about the essence of the profession of a coach from an ethical perspective, i.e. as a occupational activity of an aid and development nature, in line with the contemporary trend of expert activity supporting the process of human self-development. The idea behind the work of a coach is to support a person in setting specific, individualized goals and striving to achieve them in order to improve the quality of his life.},
 abstract={Coaching, like any form of professional help, related to the implementation of someone`s good, also has its ethical dimension. It is connected with the real impact on another person and the resulting responsibility. Therefore, the profession of a coach requires not only professional knowledge, but also the setting of specific ethical frameworks related to the specificity of the good to be implemented and protected. Therefore, the conscious adoption of ethical standards in the form of a code of ethics in the work of a coach is one of the indispensable conditions for the professionalization of this profession.},
