 abstract={This text is another contribution to the ongoing discussion on speech therapy prevention. This time, the primary focus is on the family. The main objective of the work was to analyze the possibilities for conducting preventive actions by family members and within the family environment. The starting point for these considerations is a reflection on current trends in speech therapy prevention. Particular attention is given to the diverse ways of approaching preventive areas and the resulting risks for those family members who have a crucial impact on its implementation. A brief review of empirical research directed by the author on the preparation of parents for preventive actions is also presented.
