The lower boundary of the strip is fixed and it is displaced along the upper boundary. The crack surface is assumed to be traction-free. The expressions of displacement, temperature, and shear stress are obtained.}, abstract={The values of these expressions are then obtained using MATLAB software and the values are then plotted against horizontal distance. The effect of the width of the strip on the components is shown through graphical results. It is found that the width of the strip affects all the physical quantities.
