 abstract={The lexis describing sensory experiences, regardless of how many times it has been described before, is still an interesting field of research due to its historical, idiolectal and sociolinguistic aspects. Literary texts should be regarded as suitable for this type of analysis and interpretation, not only owing to their self-contained nature, but more importantly, due to their qualitative values, including in particular, a variety of vocabulary.},
 abstract={The material described in the article from the novels by Jerzy Pilch and Michał Kaziów illustrates that the hierarchy of the most important senses is stable. Sight predominates, followed by hearing and touch. However, in individual situations, such as the loss of sight or the main ideas related to communication and interpersonal relationships, this hierarchy may change, with hearing becoming dominant. The subsequent studies may also indicate other changes in the hierarchy of human senses.},
