Literary texts should be regarded as suitable for this type of analysis and interpretation, not only owing to their self-contained nature, but more importantly, due to their qualitative values, including in particular, a variety of vocabulary.}, abstract={The material described in the article from the novels by Jerzy Pilch and Michał Kaziów illustrates that the hierarchy of the most important senses is stable. Sight predominates, followed by hearing and touch. However, in individual situations, such as the loss of sight or the main ideas related to communication and interpersonal relationships, this hierarchy may change, with hearing becoming dominant.
