 abstract={The book is intended for English philology students at C2 level. 25 units propose topics ranging from self-development, social media, value of work and education to the problem of immigrants. Speaking activities include tasks for individual consideration and pair work. Students respond to questions, comment on quotes or excerpts from online materials or literature. Each unit practices and consolidates vocabulary on a discussed topic. The concept of the book rests upon the principle that English philology students perceive language not only as the object of study but mainly as a tool for self-expression. Analysing and expressing their opinion on the proposed topics students will be able to better understand themselves and the world around them.},
