 abstract={The main aim of the study presented in this article was to determine the opinions of students at the University of Zielona Gora (UZ) regarding their professional development to date. Due to the age of the respondents, the focus was on the periods of professional pre-orientation and orientation, vocational training, and professional career. A diagnostic survey method and survey technique, including a questionnaire, were used for research purposes.},
 abstract={This article presents the results of pilot studies conducted at the turn of 2024 and 2025. The research material obtained indicates that the Professional development of UZ students at the pre-orientation phase was satisfactory. However, in the other periods (professional orientation, vocational training, and professional work) - despite numerous changes being introduced in this area - there was a lack of support from specialists who are legally obliged to perform career counseling tasks. This undoubtedly influence the educational and career decisions made by young people over the years.},
