In the context of contemporary politics, the author notes that left-wing parties in Poland often function within broader coalitions, forcing ideological compromises.}, abstract={The analysis also reveals difficulties in the practical implementation of leftist demands, especially in the face of the dominance of centrist and conservative groupings. Nonetheless, leftist parties play an important role in public debate, promoting ideas of social equality, democratization and economic justice.
