The formation of the young creator`s literary preferences was influenced by several factors: his education at the prestigious Krzemieniec Lyceum, his mother`s poetic interests, the prevailing atmosphere in Krzemieniec, the patriotic sentiments within the Rumel household - which notably resided in a 19th-century manor once owned by the Słowacki family, and his philological studies in Warsaw. It is therefore not surprising that the poetry examined here resonates with echoes of the "Ukrainian school" of Romanticism, including figures such as Józef Bohdan Zaleski, Juliusz Słowacki, and Michał Czajkowski. The article also traces the connections between Rumel`s poetry and the body of lyrical work on the November Uprising, as well as its ties to the oeuvre of Adam Mickiewicz and particularly esteemed Cyprian Norwid.}, title={Echa romantyzmu w poezji Zygmunta Jana Rumla}, type={rozdział w książce}, keywords={Rumel, Zygmunt Jan (1915-1943), Wołyń, Krzemieniec, poezja romantyzmu, Volhynia, poetry of Romanticism}, }
