After World War II, this poet was associated primarily with anti-communist satire and sentimental songs of pre-war Poland. For the Polish emigration, Marian Hemar was a witness and eulogist of lost Lviv, a custodian of its memory. This article refers to this thread in the poet`s work, showing the image of a city that is very close to us and at the same time lost for centuries. Marian Hemar, like no one else, was able to convey the atmosphere of Polish Lviv, its humor and pathos, heroism and the life of Lviv streets.}, title={Marian Hemar: kustosz tradycji polskiego Lwowa w Londynie}, type={rozdział w książce}, keywords={poezja, Hemar, Marian (1901-1972), Lwów, poetry, Lvov}, }
