 abstract={The goal of this article was to check whether the Pole is obedient to authority (which is a represented by a police uniform)? Is uniform exposure sufficient factor, which convinces respondents to behave in line with the law on road traffic safety? The authority has been identified with a police uniform, because the right to wear the uniform under the threat of criminal sanctions have only policemen. Because of the professional role they have the right to enforce obedience from individuals or groups representing civil society.},
 abstract={The study was conducted in one of the largest towns in Lower Silesia (Poland), in the month of April 2016. The participants of the natural experiment were people passing through the crossing on one of the intersections with heavy traffic. Natural experiment took place at the unwitting complicity of police officers, their task was a routine patrolling crosswalks. The results of the experiment prove to be interesting, because the association between exposure of police uniform and the tendency to comply with traffic regulations had been observed.},
