It is focusing on two aspects of the inner world of the writer himself: intellectual content (testimonials of books he read)and spiritual content (personal experience of his time with God).},
 abstract={The analysis show that although the works of art y (especially particular sculpture from the XVII century by Innocenz da Palermo in San Damiano church in Assisi) and literary works played an important part in his spiritual autobiography the Bible imposed the biggest yet, on Brandstaetter`s internal growth, especially that the breakthrough in his understanding of the read texts was a mystical experience presented in the chapter "Biblical night". The article thus presents the spiritual autobiography of Roman Brandstaetter who chose the way to knowledge and wisdom.},
