PB - Zielona Góra: Oficyna Wydawnicza Uniwersytetu Zielonogórskiego N2 - There are a lot of areas after historic calamine mining in the Upper Silesia region. A good way to manage such facilities, particularly in the cities, is the establishment of green area and parks. The paper presents analysis of the tree species composition and the sanitary condition of stands in park at the area of Camilian Monastery in Tarnowskie Góry. N2 - There were inventoried total 696 trees, among which: linden, maple, horse chestnut, beech and ash. It was noted a good state of health of trees, versus the good habitat conditions in the post-calamine mining sites. In order to improve the aesthetics and safety of the park there was recommended the removal of dying trees and dead branches. N2 - In place from the removed trees there was proposed to introduce high adaptability species to habitat conditions of the post-calamine mining sites, such as beech and sycamore maple.
