PB - Zielona Góra: Oficyna Wydawnicza Uniwersytetu Zielonogórskiego N2 - Forest management is a scientific discipline designed to develop methods of maintaining forest areas and to ensure the sustainable development of forest resources in terms and conditions of multifunctional forestry. This is a branch of practical forestry which deals with inventorying and assessing the state of forests, defines economic tasks and draws up a program of nature conservation for forest districts. N2 - The paper presents legal conditions related to the concept of forest management plan, as well as issues related to the area division, planning economic indications and their role for the forest environment. PB - Zielona Góra: Oficyna Wydawnicza Uniwersytetu Zielonogórskiego N2 - In this paper the problem of cooling a component, in the interior of which heat is generated due to its work, was solved analytically. the problem of cooling of a processor with the use of a heat pump was solved based on a earlier theoretical analysis of authors of external surface cooling of the cooled component by using the phenomenon of liquid evaporation. Cases of stationary and non-stationary cooling were solved as well. N2 - The authors of the work created a simplified non-stationary analytical model describing the phenomenon, thanks to which heat distribution within the component, contact temperature between the component and liquid layer, and the evaporating substance layer thickness in relation to time, were determined. Numerical calculations were performed and appropriate charts were drawn. N2 - The resulting earlier analytical solutions allowed conclusions to be drawn, which might be of help to electronics engineers when designing similar cooling systems. The following kinds of wastewater were examined: metal industry wastewater from aluminium pressure foundry; wastewater from industrial waste treatment processes, such as: filtration waste, chemical reagents, coolants, water emulsions, oil wastes and other industrial wastes, galvanising waste treatment processes sludge. N2 - Samples COD value decrease in the subsequent days of the experiment proves that organic substances contained in the examined wastewater undergo gradual biodegradability in aerobic conditions. The highest biodegradability degree of aluminium pressure foundry wastewater equal 65.7% was noted during 28 day of the experiment. However, the minimum biodegradability degree equal 80% after 13 aeration days, which in Zahn-Wellens test allows to determine the examined substance to be biodegradable, has not been achieved. PB - Zielona Góra: Oficyna Wydawnicza Uniwersytetu Zielonogórskiego N2 - This study addresses the complex geology caused mainly by tectonic and glaciotectonic processes in lignite-bearing areas of Poland. Tectonics played a dominant role in the deformation of peat/lignite seams during their deposition. This is especially true for deep grabens where the thickest lignite seams were deposited (e.g., Bełchatów). Conversely, glaciotectonics led to the post-depositional deformation of other deposits (e.g., Sieniawa).
