Abstract:

This article has been taken to describe the principles of operation of the Greek concepts of "eros", "agape", "philia" and characterize their impact on the perception of love in the selected writings of Karol Wojtyla ? John Paul II. Based on two literary works of Karol Wojtyla: "The Jeweller`s Shop" and "The love and the responsibility", strives to portray the transformation in definition of the concept of "love". ; The actions of the three pairs of charakters of the drama "The Jeweller`s Shop" (Teresa and Andrew, Anna and Stephen, Monica and Christopher) are the starting point to describe three kinds of love. The first discussed concept of love, "eros" is only sensual love. Thus profess love of Teresa and Andrew is a denial of recognition of love only through the prism of carnality, and it stresses the perception of love as a personal relationship based on interpersonal relationships. ; The second kind of love - "agape", fits perfectly into the life situation of Anna and Stephen, who are experiencing a crisis of marriage. "Agape" love is determined as unconditional love of God to man, and forgiving love of the people to each other. Being rooted in love of the God that gives strength to overcome everyday difficulties marriages states, the heroine of the drama - Anna - is able to forgive the fault of her husband. In relationship of Monica and Christopher is demonstrated the concept of love based on friendship, spiritual closeness of the heart. ; Such values characterized love are so-called: "philia". Positive valuation in relationships are the concept of agape and "philia". In contrast, the eros love is gaining a positive indexation only in the context of the treatment of other people in the personalist way or by the perception of the dignity to another person by the fact that it is a Person.
