The subject of the mater is the social situation of children with dyslexia that they meet at school. In the theoretical part of the thesis the subject of dyslexia has been discussed, its influence on a child's development, issue of social situation of a human including the specific social situation of the child at school. The basic contexts indicating those situations have been taken into consideration. That is school (including school grade) but also the family as place of social experiences of the child. ; The empiric part of the treatise contains the results of the research checking the social situation at school of children with dyslexia and both the analysis and interpretation of those results. Three types of those situations have been anclosed (each of them contains two subtypes) together with the indywidual cases characteristics, which are the exemplification of those types attributes. It has been also attempted to explain the mechanisms of formation of the social situation of children with dyslexia at school. The significant part of both the teachers and the parents has also been pointed.
