Pasterniak, Wojciech (1935-2018 ) - red.
The paper has methodological character and is dedicated to the development of the conception and theory of teaching and learning literature in a synchronic and diachronical formulation. The author adopts the following assumptions: ; a) progress in research of literary didactics revealing itself by growth and arrangement of knowledge,b) methodological progress revealing itself by the perfection of scientific research methods and by more and more exact definition of the subject under examination, c) improving practical efficiency of the theory and its growing functionality and competence, ; d) close relationsship between the development of conception and theory of teaching and learning literature and the increasing knowledge about literature, psychology, pedagogics, common didactics and other scientific branches, e) close relationeship between the progress in literary didactics and the development of educational systems.
