Związki filmu i literatury w kulturze polskiej dwudziestolecia międzywojennego stanowią istotny element przemian społeczno-kulturowych, jakie zachodziły w tym czasie w Polsce, a wcześniej w Europie. W literaturze film stał się katalizatorem zmian estetycznych na różnych poziomach: fabularnym, narracyjnym i genealogicznym. ; Autorzy przejęli nowe postrzeganie czasu i przestrzeni i w rezultacie zrewolucjonizowali swoje metody narracyjne, wykorzystując takie strategie filmowe, jak: skoki w czasie, elipsy, wizualizacje w kreowaniu świata przedstawionego czy różnorodne techniki montażu filmowego. Genealogia literacka zawdzięcza X Muzie powstanie nowych gatunków literackich, a także hybrydowych, wykorzystujących albo fabułę filmową, albo sposób opowiadania filmowego.
Abstract:
The relationships between film and literature in Polish culture of the interwar period constitute an important element of socio-cultural transformations that occurred at that time in Poland and previously in Europe. For literature, film served as a catalyst of aesthetic changes on various levels: fictional, narrative and genealogic. ; Literary plots were enriched with the elements from the world of film, such as movie stars, elements of the world created on the screens, tearing off blinds or, in general, the magic and appeal of the cinema. ; Authors adopted new perceptions of time and space and as a result, revolutionized their narrative methods; now they made use of such film strategies as temporal leaps, ellipses, visualizations in the creation of the presented world or diversified techniques of film editing. Literary genealogy owes the 10th Muse the creation of new literary as well as hybrid genres which make use of either film plots or the manner of film storytelling (cinematic poems, film novels, etc.).
