Abstract_pl:

Omówiono zastosowanie cyfrowych narzędzi do komputerowo wspomaganej analizy danych jakościowych (ang. Computer-Assisted Qualitative Data Analysis Software, CAQDAS) w analizie zawartości prasy na przykładzie oprogramowania MAXQDA. Celem artykułu jest pokazanie, w jaki sposób narzędzia te wspierają proces organizowania materiału źródłowego, umożliwiają systematyczne kodowanie w ujęciu dedukcyjnym i indukcyjnym oraz służą do analizy i interpretacji danych ilościowych oraz jakościowych w badaniach prasoznawczych. Przedstawiono podstawowe funkcjonalności MAXQDA w analizie zawartości, a także omówiono etapy postępowania badawczego, wskazano również na ograniczenia narzędzi CAQDAS w warsztacie prasoznawcy. Potencjał pracy z narzędziem CAQDAS polega na świadomym, krytycznym i umocowanym w metodologii wykorzystaniu; system nie zastąpi kompetencji analitycznych, uważnej interpretacji oraz refleksji teoretycznej badacza.

Abstract:

The use of digital tools for computer-assisted qualitative data analysis software (CAQDAS) in press content analysis is discussed on the example of MAXQDA software. The aim of the article is to show how these tools support the process of organizing source material, enable systematic coding in both deductive and inductive approaches, and are used for the analysis and interpretation of both quantitative and qualitative data in press studies. The basic functionalities of MAXQDA in content analysis are presented, and the stages of the research process are discussed. The limitations of CAQDAS tools in the press researcher?s toolkit are also indicated. The potential of working with CAQDAS lies in its conscious, critical, and methodologically grounded use; the system cannot replace the researcher?s analytical competence, careful interpretation, or theoretical reflection.
