Abstract:
The article treats of the necessity of elaborating a generally outlined but sensibly constructed program for teaching literary methodics as a subject in Colleges for future teachers. The main idea concentrates on four principal problems: ; The necessity of reliance on a suitable theory (or theories) in the formation of a methodological program of teaching the guiding subject (literature), the edition in form of a book of the most important up-today studies of literary didactics, systematical researches on excellent Polish methods and continuation of studies on the influence of literary texts by distinguished men of letters on the education of the literary consciousness of young readers.
