The author motivates in his paper, that the essential condition for an efficiency in teaching literature is the dialectic connexion of aesthetic experience, attainment of erudition and formation of convictions. In the process of perception of a piece of literary work the reader's whole personality is engaged and the aesthetic experience is a creative act. ; Analyzing connexions between literary experience on one side and perception and formation of convictions in teaching literature on the other side, the author presents some didactical recommendations as concentration in the process of teaching on essentials, as consideration of the literary work's peculiarity, the relation between parts and the whole, consideration of the purpose in the didactic process and the necessity of problem-teaching.
